Over 400 workbooks are grouped into 4 Ability Levels and target 20 different topics. 

Select the level which best fits each student’s individual learning needs, regardless of his or her chronological age.

Level One	Our resources begin at Level One – suitable for students of any age who are just able to grasp a pencil and make simple scribbles on the page, and who are able to communicate at a very basic level using a few simple words or gestures.  Over 1,500+ pages of resources are available to support educators in the development of fine motor skills, receptive and expressive communication skills, pre-emergent literacy and numeracy skills, concept formation, spatial awareness, motor memory, mid-line crossover, and much, much more.
Level Two	Level Two continues this resource support, with another 1,500+ pages – suitable for students of any age who are functioning an academic level typically associated with early elementary or primary school.  Additional Workbooks added at this level include critical thinking skills, personal development and protective behaviours, processing speed and accuracy, phonemic awareness and much more.  Functional Literacy and Numeracy are supported through spiral curriculum workbooks which teach new concepts in a very gradual progression, with frequent re-visits to concepts previously learned.   A constant emphasis on applying previously learned skills in novel situations helps to students reinforce and apply key concepts.
Level Three	Level Three provides another 1,000+ pages suitable for students of any age whose functional academic skills are typically associated with middle elementary or primary school.  Almost all topics from Level Two are continued in Level Three.  This depth of resources ensures that regardless of each student’s rate of learning, their teachers will have constant access to stimulating, vibrant and novel resources appropriate to their individual needs.
Level Four	Level Four provides another 2,000+ pages suitable for students whose functional academic skills are typically associated with upper elementary or junior high school.  Even at this level, all Workbooks remain highly visual, with highly adapted tasks suitable for students with ongoing difficulties forming and applying abstract concepts.  Many of the Workbooks focus on specific topics commonly found in mainstream curriculum.  This allows students to participate to the fullest extent in mainstream activities, but then complete adapted tasks on the same topic at a level suitable to their needs.  Level Four is the highest academic level that Precision Academics targets.   Once students are able to complete Level Four Workbooks with relative independence, then they are quite able to use many of the hundreds of other excellent resources already available to support their learning needs.

Placement and Progress Tests

English: Functional Literacy           and            Mathematics: Functional Numeracy               have diagnostic Placement and Progress Tests to assist you to determine the best starting points for each student and to help you to monitor each student’s progress over time.

This Table is to be used as a GUIDELINE only – You must take into account other factors such as the student’s age, individual areas of strength and challenge, topics required etc.

Challenge Me

 These workbooks are similar to the Creative Minds, except that in the Challenge Me series the students can answer directly onto the screen.  All of the other Precision Academics workbooks are “locked” in the PDF format, but Challenge Me workbooks are in “Microsoft Word” which allows the student to answer directly onto the screen.  Make ABSOLUTELY SURE you save a separate copy for each individual student.

Christian Studies

These are faith based workbooks, suitable for students attending private religious schools or homeschool students.  (Please note – these workbooks are developed through faith based studies and some government schools require that these workbooks are not used in secular school programs. All other Precision Academics workbooks are developed in line with secular curriculum and may contain some images or content which is not in line with Christian faith based studies)

Communication Skills        

These workbooks are designed to develop the student’s vocabulary, their ability to give clear and detailed descriptions and explanations,  pose and answer questions, relay simple stories, and respond to increasingly complex instructions from others. Suitable for signed and spoken communication.

Concepts and Patterns      

The ability to rapidly and effectively understand concepts and patterns speeds up learning and makes it much easier for students to apply knowledge to new situations.  These Workbooks develop the student’s ability to process complex visual material accurately, form verbal and non-verbal concepts, recognise and apply patterns and sequences, make generalisations and apply this information to future situations.

Creative Minds     

These workbooks are extremely similar to the Challenge Me, except offered in the normal printed workbook format.  These workbooks are designed to provide students with highly stimulating, open-ended questions.  The Creative Minds workbooks are based on principles of multiple intelligence.

Cross Curricula Workbooks      

These workbooks are for students requiring the highest level of support in their learning, or who are at the earliest level of developing academic skills.  Each Workbook contains activities from all topic areas.  Great for students with much more limited attention spans.  Outstanding for students on “Life Skills” programs.
